Ok, I know embedded software development tools aren't typically called CAD programs. But they fit the category close enough for me. PIC C by CCS: as someone on the PICList said (can't remember who) it's a rapid development language with a C like syntax. MPLAB by Microchip: ICE 2000 is a fine emulator and the simulator compiler and editor are nice. The68HC11 assembler and C compiler by COSMIC Software work very well. I use a pretty old version you might want to get some other options by asking the 68HC11 mail list sponsored by Motorola. The Emul-68 by Nohau is a fine emulator for HC11's. Get and read Embedded Systems Programming magazine. It's the best source of information I've found. Last Updated 09/04/2010 |
